particulars and details!

greetings and salutations!
We are overjoyed that you have decided to join us in our forth-coming nuptial celebration! To simplify your planning, we have compiled a few details and things to consider on this page. If there is a question that you still need answered, feel free to contact us, and we will do our best to update the page. We hope it will be the perfect place to find out everything you need to know about our lovely venue and our festivities!

Do you remember when garden parties, dinner dances and intimate soirées were the social event of the season, when real men wore bow ties, and ladies donned smart hats and kid gloves? Well, so do we! So, we are throwing a private, outdoor, garden party wedding for our closest family and friends, followed by dinner and dancing.
With your help, our festivities will be the talk of the town; reminiscent of the greatest parties of yesteryear! In the spirit of those good ol’ days, bow ties and vintage garden party dresses are thoroughly encouraged. Looking for specific style ideas or want to see exactly what we have up our sleeves? Come check out our inspirations page!
Beltane Ranch is a unique historic B & B tucked in a cozy nook of the Sonoma Valley. It is a functioning ranch and vineyard, and we were one of the lucky couples allowed to get married in this little slice of heaven. Because of the delicate nature of the surrounding property, along with the bed and breakfast’s policies, this will be a completely non-smoking event, and smoking is prohibited everywhere on the property, especially the surrounding vineyards and live oak groves. September is very hot and dry in Glen Ellen, and it would be
a shame to spoil the wedding with a wildfire!
We ask that all of our guests please respect this request to reduce the risk of fire and to create a safe, breathable environment for all of the families and children present. For more information about the ranch, feel free to visit their website.
Another thing to remember while packing: this is an outdoor event and will go into the later evening. While September is usually quite hot, the evenings can get chilly, so remember to bring something to keep you cozy as the sun dips below the horizon. There won't be heat lamps or fires, so cardigans, jackets, hats, gloves, scarves and massive amounts of ridiculous dancing will have to keep us warm! Extra picnic blankets are encouraged, and if you are the prone-to-getting-chilly type, like Phoebe, you might consider bringing a warm change of clothes, just in case. Being prepared always helps to pass a comfortable and enjoyable evening!
